EXPLORING GRAVITY THROUGH MOVEMENT

Although we are aware of gravity as a concept, how many of us can feel its effects in our bodies? By exploring gravity and the very intimate relationship we have with it, we can explore themes of lightness and heaviness, collapse and rigidity, tiredness and vitality. In this way we can begin to dissolve blockages in our bodies and create a greater sense of overall balance in our lives. By generating a healthy relationship with gravity and anti-gravity; our posture naturally improves, our limbs become more integrated with our centre, we become more graceful and easeful in our movements and our practice of yoga becomes more interesting, pleasurable and instinctive!
